At 16,911 square feet, the Pet Wellness and Urgent Care Center in Marion, Illinois, is comprised of about 10,000 square feet of hospital space and 7,000 square feet dedicated to the boarding lodge, day camp, and grooming areas. This state-of-the-art facility includes separate dog and cat exam/waiting areas; an aviary; a reptile treatment area; isolation areas for sick dogs with a completely separate play area; a cat isolation area with an exam isolation room; a dog daycare/indoor play area; a grooming facility; a water therapy space with a water treadmill; offices; an ER exam and grieving space (with a separate entrance for after hours); radiology, ultrasound, and CT rooms; a surgery prep room; a dentistry area; and an ICU kennel area.
