This year, Beck Automation, St. Louis, Missouri, marks its 20th anniversary. In 2001 Joe Beck and Jeff Potthast set out to provide the best controls and service to the metal forming industry. Since starting in their respective basements, Jeff and Joe have brought a company of two to almost 30 employees.
While keeping up with technological advances, Beck Automation designs state of the art control systems, and are continually developing their Connex software to better manage, track, and streamline customers’ facilities.
Beck Automation controls and related products make production machines and the day-to-day operations more efficient and profitable. They manufacture controls for rollformers, cut-to-length lines, slit/cut-to-length lines, tube mills, portable rollformers, and trim shop folders. They also offer a plant-wide Enterprise Suite called Connex to integrate the office to the plant floor. Complete retrofit projects may include engineering, custom software, panel building, and installation.
