Located in an upscale rural neighborhood in Churchville, Maryland, this high-end, 4,875-sq. ft. post-frame barn features top-of-the-line products, including the retaining wall, exterior siding, custom doors and a 7,500-sq. ft. McElroy Metal Medallion-Lok standing seam roof.

One of the special features is an interior loft that measures 1,880 sq. ft. and overlooks the pasture below. Windowed dormers in the loft area provide plenty of light into the building. The 14’ wide doors accommodate equipment stored in the barn.

The interior of the barn is sided with T-111 clear cedar siding, featuring grooves 8” on center. The T-111 siding is also wrapped around the bottom 4’ of the interior glulam columns. The interior of the windows and doors are all carefully trimmed with the T-111 siding. The exterior siding is 1’ by 12’ #1 cedar board and batten siding.

The charcoal gray roof with PVDF coating features 16” wide panels with double pencil ribs and various pitches, some as steep as 9:12. Copper roofing tops off the cupolas. ColorGard by S-5! snow guard solution is mounted to the roof, penetration-free, complementing the look of the roof with perfect color and finish matching designed to last the life of the roof.
